Full suspension, 29 inch, 1×12 drive train. Perfect for our conditions.

A burly alloy frame with 150 mm of rear travel that fully encases a 500 Wh battery, an e-MTB-optimised 160 mm RockShox fork, a powerful Bosch 250 W motor that assists up to 20 mph (25 km/h in Europe) and a controller on the handle bar. Plus, a 1×12 drive train with a wide gear range so you can always find the ideal cadence for the motor, a dropper post, powerful 4-piston brakes for more downhill confidence and 29er Bontrager wheels with nimble yet grippy 2.6″ tyres.

We rent out Ally canoes, which have been made famous by Lars Monsen’s adventures, or solid polyethylene canoes that can withstand a real knock!

Paddling a canoe down the Alta River, in the fjord or in one of the lakes around Alta offers a wonderful opportunity to have an exciting nature-based adventure that is silent and has no impact on the nature!

The price includes two oars and two life jackets per canoe. If you are a novice or want to get even more out of your experience, we recommend booking one of our guided canoeing trips.

We offer rental of fatbikes of various sizes – a wonderful, light bike with an aluminium frame.

This experience will certainly put a smile to your face as you race through the frozen and snow-covered winter landscape along Alta’s many wonderful trails. As one of Alta’s fatbike enthusiasts said: “This is one of the coolest and most enjoyable things you can do with your clothes on!”

In the winter darkness, the powerful head light makes the experience completely raw! We highly recommend this! Helmets are included in the price.

We rent out ski packs to participants on our ski expeditions, such as crossing the Finnmarksvidda mountain plateau, or those planning a day trip or expedition on their own. The ski packs consist of skis, boots and poles – and short climbing skins if you wish.

We have mountain skis from Åsnes and Madshus with steel edges and a few pairs of Atomic lighter ski touring/mountain skis without steel edges. The Åsnes skis have locks for instant attachment of short climbing skins, which are included on request. Ski boots from Alfa & Chrispi, ski poles from Åsnes.

We rent out various pulks (expedition sleds).

Acapulka Featherlite 150 (Carbon/Kevlar) is a top-quality light expedition pulk. We have two of these and both have crossed Spitsbergen. High quality and reliable equipment from Acapulka.

Acapulka Scandic Tour 150 (Fibreglass) is a solid mountain pulk, offering stable direction and good glide. Many use this model on long expeditions, e.g. skiing the length of Norway!

Paris Expedition 150 is a durable lightweight pulk – which is really an orange, solid plastic toboggan that has been used on countless expeditions worldwide (supplied in a bag).
