We rent out Trek and Scott E-MTBs. These are solid, full suspension, 29 inch bikes with 150 mm travel back and 160 mm travel rear – and 1×12 drive train.
What do you get?
A burly alloy frame with 150 mm of rear travel that fully encases a 500-650 Wh battery, an e-MTB-optimised 160 mm RockShox fork, a powerful Bosch 250 W motor that assists up to 20 mph (25 km/h in Europe) and a controller on the handle bar. Plus, a 1×12 drive train with a wide gear range so you can always find the ideal cadence for the motor, a dropper post, powerful 4-piston brakes for more downhill confidence and 29 inch Bontrager wheels with nimble yet grippy 2.6″ tyres.
Range
The range of e-MTBs is dependent on several factors including how fast you ride, cadence (how many times you turn the crank on average per minute), your weight and the surface, etc. As an idication, the range is generally 40-60 km for normal use. You can also the range assistant on the Trek website to calculate the range.

Up to 170 cm: size S
168 cm – 180 cm: size M
178 cm – 187 cm: Size L
185 and up: size XL

- GPS with some trails programmed. (If you don’t know the local area, we recommend you book a guided MTB trip – this will undoubtedly raise your biking experience to another level.)

Three options when you rent a bike:
- We deliver the bike to your desired location in Alta (NOK 200 for delivery/NOK 200 for pick up – minimum NOK 500
- We pick you up in Alta and drive you to Glød (NOK 200 pp each way/minimum NOK 500)
- You make your own way to Glød
Price
NOK 900 per day
NOK 1,800 weekend (can be picked up from 14.00-16.00 (2pm-4pm) on Friday)
NOK 2,475 for three days
The rental price includes helmet & lock, and cable for charging if needed.
Rented products must latest be delivered back no later than 09.00 (9am) the following day (fully charged).
