Many opportunities
Small lakes or big lakes, in the forest or on the mountain plateau. Small rivers, big rivers, rapids or calm water. The opportunities in the north are endless and they all have one thing in common: there is fish here, often very good fish. We are talking about trout, Arctic char and salmon. Whitefish, northern pike, grayling and burbot are more common further south in the county.
We will take you and your family up to one of the many mountain lakes in the Alta region for a small but memorable Arctic fishing adventure.
Few things beat the feeling of the fish biting on the other end and the thrill of landing it safely. There is no doubt that self-caught fish tastes better than anything else, perhaps even for those who don’t normally like fish!
Long or short
Finnmark is big and those who wish can walk a long way! But we don’t need to do that. Many hidden gems are just a 15 or 20-minute walk from the road. If you walk a little further, the chance of catching a fish is even greater!
Lunch, fishing gear and transfers
This trip includes lunch and, if we are lucky, the menu will consist of fresh Arctic char or trout grilled on an open fire. We will always bring a tasty alternative in case the fish are not biting. Enjoy a sense of achievement, hygge (cosiness) and it’s always fun to compete to see who catches the biggest/most fish.
Guide, transport, fishing gear and lunch are included.
